Why choose a Pyrenean Mastiff

The Pyrenean Mastiff is an excellent companion for families with children or for life on a farm. Unlike some breeds, it's not a one-person dog. It listens to everyone, from children to grandparents. It doesn't chase farm animals, doesn't harm chickens or chicks, and protects all living beings on the farm from intruders - whether they are four-legged or two legged. It gives plenty of warning to intruders and will only attack if it or the animals or people it is protecting are threatened.

This is a very intelligent breed that remembers what it has learned and does not require daily training.

Noite de Gaspalleira

"Naty" was born on March 20, 2020, in Spain, from the pairing of Sakeros Uran and De Bilbao de Sumendi. She is our little whirlwind, but she gets along wonderfully with children and other animals. In 2021, she became a World Winner when she achieved E1, CAC, CACIB, WW, and BOS in the intermediate class at the World Dog Show in Brno 2021.

Infante Ilvintage de las Palmeras de la Dehesa

"Max" was born in sunny Andalusia, Spain, on May 21, 2022, from the pairing of Moro de la Moreria and Doris Day de las Palmeras de la Dehesa. He is a little rascal but smart and eager to learn. After just his first two shows, he earned the title Club Junior Champion.

As a young dog, he was also judged by the breed founder, Rafael Malo Alcrudo, who gave Max an excellent evaluation for his flawless movement, exterior, angulation, behavior, temperament, and presentation.

Adalyne Avian Star

"Leny" was born with us on December 21, 2011, from the pairing of our dogs Quedo del Mostin and Ozi Farma Štěkot. She is still the same affectionate puppy as when she was born, but when it comes to guarding her entrusted space, she is relentless.

The photo is from November 2023—our grandma Leny is still in perfect condition.

Achiles Avian Star

Achiles was born with us, just like his sister Leny, on December 21, 2011, from the pairing of our dogs Quedo del Mostin and Ozi Farma Štěkot. In appearance, he was the only one in the litter who closely resembled Ozi.

At the club show on October 19, 2019, he earned the titles E1, CAC, BOS, Club Winner!

Sadly, Achiles passed away on October 18, 2021, due to a devastatingly fast illness.

This cuddly "puppy" was born on June 7, 2009, in the Italian town of Lema at the kennel Mura Milena.

He is a large dog still in development and continues to grow. His youthful energy is still very evident, but he is already an excellent guard dog. With his family, he loves to cuddle endlessly. He adores water—unfortunately, only the muddy kind :-).

He was officially certified for breeding on December 7, 2010.

Unfortunately, Quedo left us on May 4, 2019, after a devastating and rapid illness, just shy of his tenth birthday.

Ozi Farma Štěkot

Ozi was born at the Farma Štěkot kennel on April 21, 2009. She came to us at twelve weeks old after the passing of her aunt, Ifrey Farma Štěkot. She was an inquisitive "puppy" who always needed to be at the center of attention. She loved to cuddle endlessly or play with her caretaker and grandmother, Hejdy (also from Farma Štěkot), who was staying with us as a guardian.

Ozi became friends with both our cats and sheep. She was intelligent and eager to learn. While guarding the house and animals, she was highly active and sharp, just like her father, Spike (Weurlan Big Ben). She guarded alongside Hejdy and our Italian newcomer, Quedo. She was officially certified for breeding on November 13, 2010.

Tragically, while guarding the pastures, Ozi was poisoned by malicious individuals.

Sadly, Ozi passed away on December 28, 2015, due to the cruel hand that gave her poison.

Ifrey Farma Štěkot

Ifrey Farma Štěkot was a robust female, standing 85 cm tall. She was born on November 24, 2005. Her pedigree can be found in the Pedigree section. Known to us as Indy, she was playful, sweet, and affectionate. She loved domestic animals but was uncompromising when it came to guarding her people, property, and designated area. She never initiated an attack, but if threatened, like all dogs of her breed, she fought bravely and skillfully.

Excellent socialization from puppyhood and smooth training made her an outstanding companion, friend, and an active guardian for the entire family.
